📤 Exports & sharing (Enterprise)

Export camera analytics for offline analysis and sharing. Heatmap image export is not available yet. CSV export is available on Enterprise.

What you can export today

  • Camera totals for the selected date range

  • Zone-level totals when a zone is selected

  • Entry and exit counts from door lines

  • CSV only. Heatmap overlays are not exported yet

Counts are session based, not unique people. If someone re-enters they are counted again.

How to export

  1. Open the relevant view:

    • Analytics dashboard

    • Camera page

    • Camera page with a specific Zone selected

  2. Set your date range and any filters such as Country, Location, Camera, Zone

  3. Click Export → CSV

The export reflects your current filters. If a zone is selected the file contains zone-scoped data.

What is in the CSV

  • Context columns: organisation, country, location, camera name and ID, optional zone name

  • Time columns: date or date-time depending on the view

  • Metrics:

    • total_people for the period

    • entries, exits where lines are configured

    • Optional derived fields as available in the view

  • People now is not exported since it is a point-in-time value

Timestamps follow the dashboard’s time setting. If you need a different timezone, convert after export or contact support.

Permissions

  • Admins and Managers can export CSV

  • Viewers are read only

Known limitations

  • Cameras do not buffer when offline. Gaps will appear as lower totals

  • Heatmap overlays and raw density grids are not exported yet

  • API access for camera metrics is not available. Enterprise clients can request custom exports or an API pathway

Tips for analysis

  • When comparing stores, normalise by open hours, floor area (m²), or staff count

  • Keep the same date window across exports when doing before or after comparisons

  • For kiosk engagement analysis, use Linked zones to kiosks and export kiosk analytics separately if needed

Troubleshooting

  • Export disabled: ensure you have Admin or Manager permissions

  • Empty CSV: confirm the camera or zone has data in the selected date range

  • Wrong scope: check if a Zone filter was active and re-export if you wanted full-frame data

  • Need heatmap images: take a screenshot for now or contact support to discuss roadmap features
